Nothing can be more frustrating than asking if someone received your email or not just to hear them say that they didn’t receive the message. Sometimes messages can be sent to the wrong person or they can somehow run into another error that keeps the message from reaching your intended recipient, but sometimes your recipient may just be forgetful or he or she may not be telling the whole truth.
This may not be the case you run into, but the fact remains it is sometimes necessary for a person to know whether a person has read the email you sent them or not. This is especially true when it comes to business emails because it can keep other employees accountable because others can know when they received a message. The following is a small tutorial on how you can find out if someone has read your email or not.
Step 1: Head to ReadNotify
You will need to head to a website known as Read Notify. Click here to head to ReadNotify.

Step 2: Register your Account.
You will need to fill in your information here in order to setup the system. Use the mail id that you will be sending your email messages from. The service comes with a free trial so you can test it to see whether it is a good fit for your personal business needs or not.
Step 3: Send your email message
When you are sending an email message to another user, you will simply write your email as you normally would. When you are ready to send the message, you will need to manually type “.readnotify.com” at the end of your recipient’s email address. It’s important that you type it at the end of your recipient’s email address instead of your own. The neat thing is your email recipient will not see the added “.readnotify.com” extension when they read your email.
Step 4: Check out the Stats
This program is pretty neat because it gives you every detail you could want about how your recipient interacts with your email. You can see the date and exact time it was opened. You can know how long they viewed the email as well as the location of the reader. You can also know how many times they opened your message and you can find out what URLs that they may have clicked in your message.
